For the insulation of components from radiant heat

The fabric reinforced, aluminum coated heat protection mat is especially suited for the insolation of radiant heat. Components which are underneath stay despite massive action of heat cool on the surface. Perfectly suited for the firewall, underfloor or sensitive components in the engine bay which shall be protected.

A thermal barrier on one side made of a superior reflective aluminized mylar surface reflecting up to 450°C / 840°F (short-term up to 1500°C / 2700°F) radiant heat.
