What Is the Difference Between Quick Click and Dry Break Fittings?
Both systems allow quick disconnection of fluid lines, but they serve different purposes.
Quick click fittings focus on a fast and convenient connection and disconnection. If you need to disconnect something, the fluid will still come out, so depending on the system, you may need to drain it first. But these fittings are really for quick maintenance and convenience.
Dry break fittings are a little more serious. They include internal shut-off valves which automatically close when disconnected, preventing fluid loss and air from entering the system. For example, if you want to replace brake calipers due to damage, you could disconnect the fitting without having to re-bleed the new calipers you put on. That's the beauty of a dry break fitting. Apply this idea to anything that needs to be bled when taken out and reinstalled - power steering, radiators, coolers, etc.
However, because of this additional sealing mechanism, the dry break fittings are typically more complex, heavier, and more expensive than the Quick click fittings.
Are Quick Click Fittings Restricting the Flow?

How leak-proof are these fittings?
You don't have to worry about leaks with these fittings. The male end of the connection will always have an o-ring that seals the female end of the quick click when pressed on. These o-rings are replaceable in case you end up tearing one, but the ones we provide are quite strong and made of great quality. We don't recommend using these for high pressure systems, as they are not rated for extremely high pressures.
